Senior Internal Auditor

About the role

The Senior Internal Auditor will support the Internal Audit Director in executing the annual audit program for Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co. (AICC). The role focuses on ensuring compliance with policies, safeguarding assets, and delivering accurate reports that enable informed decision‑making across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Review assigned portions of the annual audit plan, clarify scope with the supervisor, and develop a monthly work plan.
• Conduct spot‑check and non‑spot‑check audits at the head office and branch locations, coordinating with department managers as needed.
• Prepare monthly performance and findings reports, discuss results with the direct superior, and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor risk and compliance requirements, report irregular incidents, and maintain the integrity of company assets.
• Provide accurate data for reporting, support decision‑making, and adhere strictly to AICC policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of internal audit experience, preferably in the insurance sector.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify and communicate audit findings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with various departments.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
