Senior Manager, Healthcare Compliance – Middle East

About the role

The Senior Manager, Healthcare Compliance (HCC) for the Middle East will act as the Healthcare Compliance Officer for DePuy Synthes’ Orthopedics business across the region. Reporting to regional leadership, the role provides strategic and operational compliance guidance to ensure ethical conduct, risk mitigation, and adherence to local healthcare laws and company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Healthcare Compliance Officer for Middle East markets.
• Develop and execute compliance strategies aligned with global and regional priorities.
• Identify, assess, and manage compliance risks related to commercial, promotional, and professional‑education activities.
• Provide proactive guidance to business leaders on compliance requirements and ethical decision‑making.
• Embed effective compliance controls into business processes and go‑to‑market models.
• Oversee core compliance programs, including training, monitoring, risk assessments, and issue management.
• Partner with Legal and other functions to support investigations, audits, and regulator interactions.
• Monitor regulatory developments and industry trends across the Middle East.
• Prepare and present risk assessments, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Significant experience in healthcare compliance, preferably within the Middle East.
• Strong understanding of regional healthcare laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with legal, business, and operational teams.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills with senior stakeholders.
• Track record of developing and implementing compliance programs.
