Senior Software Developer

About the role

Lead the technical development of a multi‑tenant ERP platform covering Procurement, Accounting, HRM, CRM, Service Operations and third‑party API integrations. You will own the full software development lifecycle, from database architecture and backend services to Vue.js front‑end implementation, ensuring high quality, performance and scalability.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build complete features across the stack: database schema, migrations, server API endpoints and Vue.js user interfaces.
• Design and review changes to a database of ~250 tables, 79 views and 89 migrations, guaranteeing correctness and backward compatibility.
• Safeguard multi‑tenant data isolation, ensuring every query is correctly scoped by tenant, company and branch.
• Maintain and extend a role‑based permission system with read, edit, delete and post levels enforced client‑ and server‑side.
• Write and optimise SQL, including views, and diagnose slow queries.
• Prepare release candidates, build, test, document changes and hand over deployment packages to the Managing Director.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, covering setup steps, migration notes and known issues.
• Replace third‑party service dependencies (email, SMS, queuing, document storage) during migration to on‑premise infrastructure.
• Review Junior Developer work, provide feedback and progressively transfer module ownership.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering complex ERP or SaaS applications.
• Strong understanding of multi‑tenant architecture and data isolation.
• Ability to manage end‑to‑end feature delivery from design through release.
• Attention to detail in database migrations, documentation and release processes.
• Experience mentoring junior developers and conducting code reviews.
