Senior Technical Office Engineer

About the role

Bayut is seeking a Senior Technical Office Engineer to lead cost control, tendering and contract administration across its development projects. You will ensure commercial accuracy, financial coordination and contractual compliance while supporting the company’s fast‑paced growth in the property market.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review Bills of Quantities, cost estimates and tender documents.
• Conduct technical and financial evaluations of contractor quotations.
• Manage contractor payments, invoices, claims and variation orders.
• Prepare project cash‑flow forecasts and cost‑control reports.
• Coordinate between consultants, contractors and internal teams.
• Review shop drawings to ensure alignment with specifications.
• Monitor project budgets and forecast financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with contractual and cost‑control procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• 8‑12 years of experience in technical office, cost control or quantity surveying.
• Experience on commercial, residential and villa projects is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of contracts, tendering and cost‑control systems, including FIDIC.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented and commercially aware.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with cost‑control software.
