Site Inspector – Construction Supervision

About the role

The Site Inspector is a key member of the supervision services team, responsible for inspecting construction sites, monitoring progress, and ensuring compliance with quality, health, safety, security and environmental (HSSE) policies and client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Support supervision teams in reviewing contractor work programmes, submittals, and method statements during pre‑construction.
• Conduct inspections of construction works based on contractor requests and document reasons for any rejections.
• Perform quality inspections together with QA/QC engineers and monitor implementation of non‑conformity action plans.
• Assist HSSE engineers in enforcing safety procedures and recording HSSE non‑conformities on site.
• Collaborate with planning engineers to track daily contractor activities and resource allocation.
• Support the preparation of commissioning reports, snag lists, and hand‑over documentation during the defects liability period.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in architecture, engineering or construction supervision.
• Strong knowledge of construction supervision services and international engineering standards and codes.
• Excellent communication, organization and attention‑to‑detail skills.
• Fluency in spoken and written Arabic and English.
