Smart Building Consultant

About the role

Dar is seeking a Smart Building Consultant to join its multidisciplinary consulting team. The role focuses on developing digital strategies and smart system solutions for building projects across Saudi Arabia.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to identify smart use cases and define value propositions.
• Develop user personas and journey maps for occupants, facility managers and other stakeholders.
• Analyse, specify and integrate smart systems and technologies into project designs.
• Review IT/OT infrastructure, data sources and workflows to spot gaps and opportunities.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of data‑driven design, technology specifications and procurement strategies.
• Prepare detailed engineering documentation, including technical specifications, tender packages and procurement guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with smart city and building standards such as WiredScore, SmartScore and UL Spire.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 month of relevant experience in smart building or related consulting projects.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate stakeholder needs into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
