Subcontracts Administration Engineer

About the role

The Subcontracts Administration Engineer will support the Mechanical Works package on the AMIRAL petrochemical expansion project in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. Working on an 8‑month extendable contract, you will ensure subcontractor data is accurately recorded and deviations from budget are identified early.

Key responsibilities

• Enter and maintain subcontractor work data in the project database.
• Detect and report any cost or schedule deviations before and after execution.
• Assist the Subcontract Administration Manager (SAM) and Site Manager in handling contractual issues.
• Prepare draft communications on contractual topics and track contractor performance.
• Evaluate cost and timing impacts of non‑compliance with contractual obligations.
• Support the development of legal and contractual analyses, reviewing scope inclusions/exclusions.
• Participate in negotiations and claim assessments related to site work requests.

Required profile

• Experience in subcontract administration or similar contract management roles.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work closely with multidisciplinary project teams.
