Superintendent – Electrical & Instrumentation

About the role

The Superintendent – Electrical & Instrumentation will lead the E&I team at Tasnee’s Jubail plant, driving reliability and performance of critical electrical and instrumentation assets. The role focuses on achieving plant targets, enhancing equipment availability and supporting long‑term reliability strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and promote a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with HSE policies and regulations.
• Manage integrity, reliability and performance of E&I assets through monitoring, maintenance and reliability programs.
• Conduct root‑cause failure analysis (RCFA) and implement corrective actions to reduce maintenance costs.
• Develop and apply condition‑monitoring and predictive‑maintenance strategies.
• Review and improve E&I reliability procedures, standards and practices.
• Establish risk‑based and criticality‑based maintenance plans.
• Provide technical expertise for troubleshooting, reliability studies and operational challenges.
• Support budgeting, CAPEX planning and resource allocation for the E&I reliability section.
• Lead workforce development, including competency assessments, training, coaching and performance appraisals.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation reliability within a petrochemical or heavy‑industrial environment.
• Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of HSE standards and regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and manage budgets and capital projects.
