Supply Chain Supervisor

About the role

The Supply Chain Supervisor will lead end‑to‑end supply chain activities, ensuring materials and services are available on time while optimizing costs and maintaining compliance. This position reports to senior management and works closely with production, quality, and finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily supply chain functions including material planning, procurement, warehousing, and distribution.
• Develop and implement strategies to reduce lead times, cut costs, and improve inventory accuracy.
• Coordinate with internal departments to align supply chain operations with project timelines and budgets.
• Manage vendor selection, qualification, performance evaluations, and negotiate competitive pricing and terms.
• Monitor supply chain KPIs, identify risks or bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, contractual obligations, and company standards.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supply chain staff.
• Implement digital tools and ERP systems to streamline procurement and inventory processes.
• Prepare periodic performance and cost‑efficiency reports for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in supply chain operations, preferably in manufacturing, oil & gas, or industrial sectors.
• Strong knowledge of procurement, logistics, and inventory control.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective leadership and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office Suite.
