Systems Engineer – Infrastructure & Applications Support

About the role

Indra Group is seeking a Systems Engineer to join its Saudi Arabia tech team. You will be responsible for maintaining high‑availability IT infrastructure and supporting critical applications that underpin national and international security operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure to ensure maximum availability.
• Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools.
• Monitor application performance, identify bottlenecks and work with developers to implement fixes.
• Liaise with vendors and internal IT staff to resolve incidents.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance according to the maintenance plan.
• Inspect assets and spare parts, perform repairs and adjustments as needed.
• Prepare maintenance checklist reports and document work performed.
• Troubleshoot using as‑built documents, schematics and other technical sources.
• Coordinate with Systems ML1 engineers to analyse root causes and resolve incidents.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in IT systems administration or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix commands and SQL.
• Hands‑on experience with Windows and Linux servers.
• Familiarity with Active Directory and Domain Controller administration.
• Proven troubleshooting skills for complex technical incidents.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
