Tax GCR Director – Senior Manager

About the role

EY is looking for a Senior Manager to lead its Global Compliance & Reporting (GCR) tax practice in Jeddah. You will head complex engagements, manage client compliance and reporting, and drive the growth of the GCR team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise high‑performing teams delivering tax services to multinational clients.
• Manage day‑to‑day client engagements, monitor progress, and ensure delivery of high‑quality outputs.
• Establish and maintain strong internal and external relationships.
• Identify risks, implement standardized processes, and drive performance‑improvement solutions.
• Ensure adherence to EY Tax Quality guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, taxation or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA, CTA, ADIT or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in domestic and international tax rules, preferably within a large professional services firm.
• Proven managerial, organizational and project‑management experience.
• Experience working with multinational clients in a multicultural environment.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of domestic and international tax regulations.
• Expertise in tax accounting and tax auditing.
• Ability to handle large data sets and complex technical tax issues.
