Teaching Assistant – Artificial Intelligence

About the role

The College of Computer and Cyber Sciences at the University of Prince Murgin seeks a Teaching Assistant to support AI laboratory sessions and assist faculty with research and teaching activities. This position plays a key role in delivering hands‑on AI education to undergraduate students.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, maintain, and oversee AI lab equipment, software, and resources.
• Conduct and supervise practical lab sessions, guiding students in applying AI concepts.
• Assist students with debugging code and implementing machine‑learning models.
• Support faculty in preparing course materials, assignments, and projects.
• Grade assignments, projects, and quizzes under faculty supervision.
• Contribute to AI‑related research projects, literature reviews, data collection, and analysis.
• Maintain records of lab activities and ensure compliance with safety protocols.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Artificial Intelligence or a related field.
• Strong command of English, both spoken and written.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities.
• High professional ethics and a collaborative mindset.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• TensorFlow framework.
• PyTorch framework.
• Fundamental knowledge of machine learning and deep learning concepts.
