Technical and Logistic Support Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Technical and Logistic Support Engineer to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of the BEAM9 system for our partner in Saudi Arabia. You will act as the bridge between the customer’s IT and production teams and our engineering and maintenance teams in France.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day support to the customer’s IT administration and production teams, including monitoring, hardware replacement coordination, and software updates.
• Assist with IT training, deployment, acceptance phases, and overall platform lifecycle management.
• Participate in customer meetings, workshops, and conferences to capture expectations and ensure service quality.
• Maintain KPI dashboards, produce regular activity reports, and document procedures and best practices.
• Support continuous improvement of the platform by managing software/hardware upgrades and deployments.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proven experience in maintenance and support programs within a multicultural environment.
• Strong communication skills in English and Arabic; French is a plus.
• Ability to obtain the required security clearance.

• Windows environment: Active Directory, DNS, DFS, Group Policy Objects.
• Operating systems: Ubuntu 24.04, Windows Server 2022, Windows 11, CentOS.
• Virtualization: Nutanix AHV & NKP, Harbor, Kubernetes.
• Storage: Ceph; Backup: Veeam.
• Geospatial software: I4D, SOCET GXP (IMINT/GEOINT).
• Hardware: Dell servers, Cisco networking equipment.
• Security: ESET antivirus, Stormshield/Opensense firewall, PKI (EJBCA), Ansible.
• Networking basics: IP, DNS, firewall, routing.
• Databases (plus): PostgreSQL, MySQL, Elasticsearch.
• Cloud technologies (plus): Docker, Kubernetes.
