Technical Presales Engineer

About the role

The Technical Presales Engineer will support the sales process by working closely with clients to capture requirements, define scope, and produce detailed Bills of Quantity. The role blends technical expertise with strong communication to create compelling proposals.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with clients to understand technical requirements, project goals, and expectations.
• Gather and clarify scope of work for proposed solutions.
• Validate solutions with vendors and verify Bill of Materials.
• Analyze RFPs and contribute technical input to ensure compliance.
• Develop high‑quality technical proposals, solution designs, and implementation plans.
• Create and maintain Customer Requirement Documents, High‑Level Designs, and other project deliverables.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in presales, solution design, or technical engineering.
• Proven ability to gather client requirements and translate them into actionable plans.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Experience managing multiple projects under pressure.
