Tendering Manager

About the role

The Tendering Manager will lead the preparation and submission of competitive bids for infrastructure, building and transmission line projects. This role coordinates closely with engineering, procurement, contracts and project management teams to ensure accurate and profitable tender proposals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage tendering teams throughout the full tendering cycle.
• Prepare and review technical and commercial bids, including cost estimates and pricing strategies.
• Conduct quantity take‑offs and develop Bill of Quantities (BOQs) and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Contracts and Project Management departments during tender preparation.
• Review and approve cost estimates, pricing strategies and technical/commercial proposals before submission.
• Manage multiple tender opportunities, priorities, deadlines and bid submissions.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of market prices, material and subcontractor rates, and industry pricing trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in tendering and estimation within the construction industry.
• Proven experience with infrastructure works, building projects and transmission line contracts.
• Strong knowledge of contracts, tender documents, BOQs and technical specifications.
• Demonstrated ability to lead tendering teams and oversee the complete tendering process.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, negotiation and communication skills.
