Tower Erection Technician (TL)

About the role

We are looking for a Tower Erection Technician (TL) to lead sub‑contractor and departmental resources in the assembly and rigging of steel transmission towers. The role involves constructing tower sections at height, ensuring precise alignment and safe execution to meet client and SEC specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Manage sub‑contractor and internal teams to achieve productivity targets during tower erection.
• Construct steel tower sections using manual hoists, winches and cranes.
• Ensure vertical alignment, accurate bolting and torque tightening according to SEC standards.
• Support the stringing crew with conductor pulling, tensioning and sagging using pullers and tensioners.
• Strictly follow SEC HSE and ISMS safety regulations, including the use of full‑body harnesses and fall‑protection equipment.

Required profile

• Physically fit and able to work at heights.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings.
• Commitment to safety and compliance with HSE requirements.

Required skills

• Tower erection and steel assembly.
• Operation of manual hoists, winches and cranes.
• Precise bolting and torque tightening.
• Structural alignment and verticality checks.
