Training and Development Manager

About the role

The Training and Development Manager will design, implement and continuously improve Misk Schools' learning strategy, ensuring staff at all levels acquire the skills needed to perform effectively and grow within the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead the annual training and development plan aligned with the overall Human Capital strategy.
• Conduct regular Training Needs Analyses across departments to identify skill gaps.
• Design, develop and deliver technical, behavioral and leadership training programs.
• Manage onboarding, induction and leadership development initiatives.
• Select, manage and evaluate external training providers and vendors.
• Oversee the Learning Management System (LMS), keeping content current and tracking utilization.
• Measure training effectiveness using models such as Kirkpatrick and report on ROI.
• Collaborate with line managers to align training with performance and career plans.
• Support succession planning by identifying high‑potential talent.
• Ensure completion and documentation of mandatory compliance training.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education or related field (essential).
• Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education or related field (preferred).
• Professional certification in training and development (e.g., CPTD, ATD).
• Proven experience designing and delivering learning programs in an educational or corporate setting.
