Transportation Management Controller

About the role

We are looking for a Transportation Management Controller to oversee and optimise our transportation management system (TMS) and overall transport operations. The role will work closely with internal teams, customers, suppliers and technology partners to improve planning, pricing, billing accuracy and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily transportation activities, including collections and deliveries.
• Support implementation and continuous improvement of TMS and Order Management System (OMS) projects.
• Manage supplier contracts, master data, pricing and transport rates.
• Monitor KPIs such as fleet utilisation, delivery performance, route optimisation and data quality.
• Collaborate with IT, vendors and business stakeholders on system enhancements and digital transport solutions.
• Assist with EDI integration, customer onboarding, dashboard creation and reporting.
• Ensure accurate transport billing, accruals, vendor invoice reconciliation and operational closing.
• Participate in project planning, go‑live readiness, user training and process improvement initiatives.
• Prepare operational reports and provide recommendations to boost efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in transportation planning, logistics or supply‑chain operations.
• Hands‑on experience with Transportation Management Systems and transport implementation projects.
• Strong understanding of fleet management, routing and distribution, preferably with third‑party logistics (3PL) providers.
• Excellent analytical, organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
