Treasury Director

About the role

The Treasury Director will lead the treasury function, managing liquidity, cash flow and funding strategies to support the company’s operations and growth. Reporting to senior finance leadership, the role ensures compliance with regulations, optimizes working capital and strengthens banking relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Optimize daily cash positions and overall liquidity, ensuring efficient use of working capital.
• Oversee end‑to‑end payment processes for suppliers and employees, maintaining accuracy and internal controls.
• Develop and maintain cash‑flow forecasting models to predict short‑ and medium‑term cash needs.
• Streamline payment workflows and implement treasury management systems for greater efficiency.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions, negotiating favorable terms for loans, credit facilities and banking services.
• Identify and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives, cost‑optimization opportunities and technology enhancements within treasury operations.
• Monitor market trends, economic conditions and regulatory changes to adapt treasury strategies.
• Establish and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for treasury activities.
• Manage working capital, trade credit terms and collaborate with operations to optimize inventory financing.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in corporate treasury, cash management and liquidity planning.
• Proven track record of leading treasury teams and managing banking relationships.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
• In‑depth knowledge of treasury regulations and best practices.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to drive process improvements and implement technology solutions.
