Venue Operations Coordinator

About the role

The Venue Operations Coordinator will support the Senior Venue Manager and Venue Operations Manager in delivering venue operations for a major international football event in Saudi Arabia. Based in Al Khobar, the role is hands‑on, site‑based and covers both match‑day and non‑match‑day activities. The position runs from 1 Oct 2026 to 25 Feb 2027 and requires close coordination with stadium authorities, contractors and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate operational activities with internal functional areas and external stakeholders, including stadium authorities, contractors and service providers.
• Monitor readiness of stadium infrastructure, facilities, services and operational areas, tracking milestones, risks and actions.
• Develop and maintain venue operation plans, procedures, trackers, schedules and other documentation.
• Facilitate communication and coordination between venue stakeholders and internal teams, organising meetings, workshops and briefings.
• Assist with planning and delivery of test events, readiness exercises, simulations and operational rehearsals.
• Support day‑to‑day venue operations during the tournament, resolving operational issues and providing timely reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Sports/Event Management, Business Administration, Hospitality, Operations Management or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in venue or stadium operations, large‑scale sports or entertainment events, or similar operational environments.
• Proven ability to work evenings, weekends, public holidays and extended hours as required by the event schedule.
• Strong organisational, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Fluent English (C1 level or above).
