Weighing Officer – Materials Handling

About the role

The Weighing Officer ensures accurate measurement of all incoming and outgoing materials in a warehouse environment, maintaining proper documentation and traceability to meet audit and regulatory standards, including SFDA requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Weigh raw materials, packaging, and returned items using calibrated scales.
• Record weights accurately in logs or the company system.
• Verify product details before weighing and label materials appropriately.
• Maintain up‑to‑date weighing records and ensure compliance with SOPs and SFDA guidelines.
• Report any discrepancies or issues promptly.
• Keep weighing equipment clean, calibrated, and in good working condition.
• Support warehouse, quality control, and dispatch teams as needed.

Required profile

• Experience in warehouse operations or weighing tasks is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented procedures.
• Basic computer literacy for data entry.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
