Workshop Technician – Vehicle Maintenance & Repair

About the role

The Workshop Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing and servicing vehicles to manufacturer standards, ensuring safe and efficient turnaround in a busy workshop environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements and brake inspections.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using appropriate diagnostic tools.
• Carry out repairs in line with manufacturer and company standards.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and document any additional work required.
• Maintain accurate records on job cards or digital systems.
• Ensure safe use and proper maintenance of workshop tools and equipment.
• Follow health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with service advisors and the parts department to keep workflow smooth.
• Attend required technical training sessions.

Required profile

• Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic abilities.
• Ability to read technical manuals and wiring diagrams.
• Physically fit and comfortable working in a workshop.
