About the role
The Accountant will handle daily accounting tasks, maintain accurate financial records, and support reporting for MENAPOWER and its sister concerns. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting and offers the opportunity to work with Zakat and VAT filings.
Key responsibilities
- Record daily transactions and prepare journal entries.
- Assist with month‑end closing and financial reporting.
- Perform bank reconciliations.
- Support Zakat and VAT filings.
- Maintain documentation and filing.
- Assist internal and external audits.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (SOCPA eligibility).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
- Good Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- English proficiency mandatory.
- 1–3 years of experience preferred but not required.
- High integrity and professionalism.
