AI Technical Intern

About the role

Lockheed Martin is offering a 4‑month AI Technical Internship in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role combines on‑site and virtual work, reporting to the KSA manager and receiving guidance from mentors in Saudi Arabia and the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Develop artificial‑intelligence tools for space‑exploration applications.
• Use Lockheed Martin modelling and simulation tools to create mission‑planning scenarios.
• Generate software tools that apply UMAP techniques to radar classification.
• Write software requirements, design tests, and contribute to SDK development.

Required profile

• KSA national currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Saudi university.
• Student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or any engineering discipline with programming experience.
• Available to work 40 hours per week for the full 4‑month period.
• If GPA is below 3.0/4.0 (or 4.3/5.0), a justification must be provided.

Required skills

• Strong programming in Java, Python, C++ or C#.
• Experience developing and using SDKs.
• Data‑analysis capabilities.
• Knowledge of artificial‑intelligence, machine‑learning and UMAP techniques.
• Familiarity with radar classification concepts.
• Ability to write software requirements and test cases.
