Assistant Manager - Products (Platform Product Team)

About the role

Almosafer, Saudi Arabia's leading travel company, is looking for an Associate Product Manager to join its Platform Product team. You will help build products that power supplier connectivity, hotel availability, booking reliability, room mapping, supplier quality and supply intelligence across the Almosafer ecosystem. You will work closely with Engineering, Product, Supplier Management, Operations, Finance, Customer Experience and Data teams, reporting to the Senior Product Manager – Hotel Supply Platform.

Key responsibilities

• Support supplier onboarding by collaborating with engineering and supplier teams, understanding supplier APIs, booking flows, pricing models and inventory structures, and improving onboarding efficiency.
• Analyze booking failures, supplier issues, API errors and availability gaps to drive improvements in booking success rate, supplier quality and platform reliability.
• Write PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria and release documentation, and work with Engineering through discovery, development, testing, rollout and post-launch analysis.
• Take part in sprint planning, backlog grooming and prioritization.
• Build dashboards and analyze supplier performance using SQL, Excel, Tableau or similar tools, monitor KPIs and validate hypotheses with data.
• Leverage AI tools and LLM-based assistants to improve product discovery, automate workflows and analyze supplier documentation.
• Partner with Supplier Management, Commercial, Engineering, Operations, Finance, Customer Support and Data teams, coordinating initiatives and managing risks and dependencies.

Required profile

• 3-7 years of experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, Platform Products, Data Analytics or Software Engineering.
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills; comfortable working with APIs, backend systems and technical products.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, strong ownership and ability to work independently.
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and fast-changing environments.
• Nice to have: TravelTech, hospitality, OTA, SaaS, marketplace or platform product experience; knowledge of REST APIs, JSON and system integrations; BI tool experience; familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor or GitHub Copilot; exposure to hotel distribution, supplier connectivity or booking systems.
