Assistant Surveyor – Civil Technician (Fresh Diploma Holder)

About the role

The Assistant Surveyor supports senior surveyors and engineers in conducting land surveys for construction, infrastructure and land development projects. This entry‑level position is ideal for recent graduates with a diploma in civil or surveying engineering who are eager to gain hands‑on experience in the field.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS devices and levels.
• Participate in field surveys, measuring distances, elevations and angles.
• Collect and record survey data accurately following established methods.
• Assist in analysing data to produce maps, charts and project reports.
• Maintain and service surveying instruments, ensuring they remain in proper working condition.
• Prepare surveying documents, including plats, boundary descriptions and legal paperwork.
• Collaborate with surveyors, engineers and project teams to meet survey deadlines.
• Follow safety protocols on site and support HSE initiatives.

Required profile

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or Surveying Engineering.
