Associate General Counsel II – Regulatory and Employee Advisory

About the role

Qiddiya Investment Company seeks an experienced Associate General Counsel II to lead regulatory and employee advisory matters. The role combines strategic legal guidance with hands‑on support for HR and business units, ensuring compliance with local and international labor laws.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic advice on labor laws, employment regulations, and broader regulatory requirements affecting operations.
• Draft, review, and advise on employment contracts, policies, and procedures to ensure full compliance.
• Support management in resolving complex employee‑relations issues, disputes, and disciplinary matters.
• Monitor legal developments in employment law and assess their impact on the company.
• Collaborate with HR and other departments to manage legal risks across the employee lifecycle.
• Represent the company in regulatory matters related to employment and liaise with governmental authorities.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops to raise awareness of compliance and best practices.
• Mentor junior legal staff and foster a culture of legal excellence.

Required profile

• Legal qualification with admission to practice law.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in regulatory and employment law, preferably in a corporate or in‑house setting.
• Deep knowledge of labor laws, employment regulations, and regulatory compliance in relevant jurisdictions.
• Proven ability to manage complex employee‑relations and compliance issues.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and advisory skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both Arabic and English.
• Demonstrated leadership, including mentoring junior team members.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment handling multiple priorities.
