Bell Captain – Luxury Hotel Guest Services

About the role

The Bell Captain leads the Bell Services team at Fairmont The Red Sea, ensuring every guest arrival, departure and in‑house movement is handled with warmth, efficiency and elegance. This senior position combines hands‑on guest interaction with team leadership in a luxury resort setting.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee guest arrival, departure and internal movement, greeting VIPs, repeat guests and handling special occasions.
• Coordinate luggage handling, storage and delivery with utmost care, accuracy and discretion.
• Lead, coach and supervise Bell Attendants, Doormen and related staff, conducting daily briefings and managing staffing levels.
• Collaborate closely with Front Desk, Concierge, Guest Relations, Valet and Security to ensure seamless operations.
• Maintain luggage storage logs, tracking systems and ensure no loss or damage.
• Supervise the cleanliness and presentation of the porte‑cochère, lobby entrances and bell desk areas.
• Manage VIP, group and event luggage movements, supporting service recovery when needed.
• Uphold Fairmont grooming, etiquette and safety standards, ensuring equipment is well‑maintained.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in Bell Services or Front Office within a luxury or five‑star hotel.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience.
• Hospitality Management diploma or degree is an advantage.
