Business Development Consultant

About the role

Ideolux, a leading designer and manufacturer of high‑quality LED lighting solutions, is looking for a Business Development Consultant to grow its market presence in Riyadh and across Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will leverage an existing network in architecture, construction and engineering to drive project‑based sales and promote Ideolux’s lighting design portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities with architects, consultants, contractors, developers and government entities.
• Build and maintain relationships with key decision‑makers and influencers.
• Present Ideolux’s product range and lighting design solutions for commercial, infrastructure and hospitality projects.
• Monitor tender pipelines, pre‑qualification processes and upcoming projects.
• Collaborate with internal design and technical teams to create custom proposals and quotations.
• Represent Ideolux at trade shows, exhibitions and networking events.
• Prepare monthly reports on leads, progress and forecasts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Business or a related field.
• 4–6 years of business development or sales experience in the lighting, construction or architectural sector within Saudi Arabia.
• Strong knowledge of the Riyadh and Central KSA market and existing networks with design consultants, MEP contractors or government bodies.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills; fluent in English, Arabic a plus.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven and able to work independently or with remote teams.
• Valid Saudi driving licence preferred.
