Business Development Manager - Arabic Speaker

About the role

A B2B technology company that helps shopping malls maximise tenant revenue through data-driven insights is looking for a Business Development Manager in Riyadh. The company's platform automatically collects tenant sales data and combines it with footfall analytics, giving dashboards for mall management, leasing and marketing teams. The role drives business growth in Saudi Arabia, covering the full cycle from market analysis and lead generation to pilot execution and contract closure.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse the market to find high-potential opportunities in shopping malls, airports and retail
• Identify and build relationships with key decision-makers
• Generate leads through outreach, networking and local engagement
• Run client meetings, product demos and presentations
• Manage the sales pipeline from first contact to deal closure
• Create tailored commercial proposals and support contract negotiations
• Plan and run pilot projects, including onboarding and initial deployments
• Sourcing and managing local contractors for pilots when needed
• Build partnerships with system integrators and service providers
• Improve sales performance, conversion rates and revenue, and gather customer feedback to shape strategy

Required profile

• Proven B2B business development or sales experience, preferably in tech, proptech or data/analytics solutions
• Experience with shopping malls, airports or retail operators is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of enterprise sales cycles and complex deals
• Ownership, independence and accountability; able to build a market from scratch
• Ability to work remotely while acting as a local market owner in Saudi Arabia
• Fluent English; Arabic is a strong advantage
