Camp System Operator

About the role

The Camp System Operator is responsible for monitoring and maintaining all camp facilities to ensure safe, efficient, and decent living standards for manpower across Nesma & Partners job sites. This role involves routine inspections, emergency handling, and coordination with various service providers.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain records for electrical, plumbing, water supply, sewage, HVAC, and other camp systems, identifying potential issues.
• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, check‑in/check‑out reports, and repairs to keep systems operating optimally.
• Handle emergencies such as power outages, water leaks, or HVAC failures, coordinating with relevant staff for swift resolution.
• Track equipment and supplies, assist in ordering and restocking to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Maintain attendance summaries, program evaluations, and other reports for resource planning.
• Organize transportation for workers and coordinate with catering contractors to ensure timely meal service.
• Monitor security, HSE, and first‑aid supplies, taking measures to mitigate safety risks.

Required profile

• High School or Vocational Diploma (or equivalent).
• At least 4 years of experience in similar camp or facilities management roles.
• Proficiency in English; Arabic is a plus.
