Chef de Cuisine - Fusion Restaurant

About the role

The Fusion Restaurant is seeking a Chef de Cuisine to lead its kitchen operations. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality, consistent dishes while driving menu innovation and maintaining strict food safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring compliance with all Food & Beverage policies and sanitation standards.
• Develop, design, and execute new menu items, seasonal offerings, and special guest dishes.
• Plan and manage food quantities, plating requirements, and inventory purchasing.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of cooks and kitchen staff, providing hands‑on preparation as needed.
• Monitor food handling, storage, and temperature control to meet regulatory requirements.
• Estimate daily production needs and adjust staffing and resources accordingly.
• Maintain high standards of food presentation, flavor, and overall quality.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 4 years of culinary experience, OR a 2‑year degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel & Restaurant Management, or related field with 2 years of experience.
• Proven ability to lead a kitchen team, manage budgets, and improve guest and employee satisfaction.
• Strong understanding of food safety regulations and sanitation practices.
