Chemical Engineer - Oil & Gas

About the role

Eram Talent is recruiting a Chemical Engineer to support process design, optimization and technical operations in oil and gas facilities in Saudi Arabia. The engineer contributes to safe, reliable and efficient production through work in refining, petrochemical processing or upstream production systems. The workplace is on site.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and update PFDs, P&IDs and process simulations
• Optimize plant processes to improve production, energy use and cost efficiency
• Troubleshoot operational issues and support daily plant activities
• Take part in HAZOP, PHA and safety compliance activities
• Prepare technical specifications and support project engineering tasks
• Monitor key process parameters and provide performance reports

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering (a Master's is an advantage)
• 3 to 7 years of experience in oil and gas, refinery or petrochemical plants
• Strong knowledge of process safety and industry standards such as API and ASME
• Good communication and problem-solving skills

Required skills

• Process simulation tools such as Aspen HYSYS and Aspen Plus
• Knowledge of process safety and standards (API, ASME)
