Clinical Nurse Educator 1 – Perioperative

About the role

The Clinical Nurse Educator 1 (CNE1) – Perioperative is responsible for enhancing the knowledge, clinical skills and competencies of nursing staff across Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare locations. The role supports clinical excellence through education, mentorship, and evidence‑based practice implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with nursing leadership to identify educational needs and design, deliver, and evaluate in‑service and accreditation training programs.
• Develop competency assessment tools, orientation programs, mentorship and preceptorship initiatives for new and existing nurses.
• Lead evidence‑based practice projects, guide interdisciplinary teams in applying research findings, and support continuous quality improvement.
• Participate in policy development, system design enhancements, technology evaluations, and organizational committees focused on patient safety and staff development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (Master’s or clinical teaching certificate preferred).
• Current licensure as a registered professional nurse.
• Minimum six years of relevant nursing experience, with strong oral and written communication, project management, and quality improvement skills.
• Fluent English; Arabic preferred.
