Plastic Surgeon – Dhahran

About the role

The Plastic Surgeon provides comprehensive surgical care for ambulatory and hospitalized patients of all ages across Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare facilities in Dhahran and surrounding locations. The role includes pre‑operative assessment, operative intervention, and post‑operative management in both major and minor plastic and reconstructive procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Perform pre‑operative, operative and post‑operative care for plastic and reconstructive surgery cases.
• Conduct daily rounds, examinations and follow‑up for assigned in‑patient and out‑patient cases.
• Serve as a consultant to other medical services for complex surgical cases.
• Supervise and evaluate staff surgeons, assistant surgeons and related personnel.
• Participate in quality‑assurance activities, in‑service lectures and conferences to stay current with surgical techniques.
• Ensure compliance with Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare bylaws and Joint Commission standards, reporting unusual cases to the Chief Surgeon.

Required profile

• Graduation from an approved medical school, internship, five‑year residency and a valid medical license.
• Board certification or eligibility by the American Board of Surgery (or equivalent).
• At least two years of practice in plastic and reconstructive surgery after certification.
• Proficient oral and written English and ability to work in a group practice within an industrial healthcare environment.
