Emergency Nurse 4 – EMS Observation Team Lead

About the role

The Emergency Nurse 4 leads nursing unit processes within the EMS Observation team, ensuring the highest standards of patient care, optimizing workflows, and mentoring junior staff. The role collaborates closely with multidisciplinary teams to enhance efficiency and achieve organizational goals.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to strategic initiatives that improve nursing practices and patient safety.
• Develop and refine protocols to enhance operational efficiency.
• Promote high staff engagement and superior patient experience.
• Maintain high‑quality care and safety standards.
• Support empowerment of nurses through the JHAH Professional Practice Model.
• Provide advanced nursing care, manage complex cases, and mentor junior nurses.
• Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and quality standards.
• Coordinate with clinical teams for seamless patient care and support critical decision‑making.
• Precept new hires, conduct training, and evaluate progress.

Required profile

• Minimum 3‑year International Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Current licensure as a professional registered nurse.
• Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.
• At least 6 years of nursing experience, including 3 years in Emergency Care.
• Fluent English; Arabic preferred.
