Commercial Account Executive - Saudi Arabia

About the role

Salesforce is expanding its presence in Saudi Arabia and is hiring a Commercial Account Executive for its Core Business Unit in Riyadh. The role leads a set of accounts or prospects in the Kingdom, working with a virtual team of Cloud Specialists, Solution Experts and supporting colleagues to set the vision and strategy for growing annual revenue. It is a mix of new business and existing business, with a focus on Salesforce Core AI products such as Sales CRM.

Key responsibilities

• Manage both existing customers and build new relationships with prospective clients in Saudi Arabia.
• Drive sales in the assigned territory for new markets.
• Introduce Salesforce offerings to new customers and communicate the value proposition to close deals.
• Own the vision, strategy and stakeholder management for each account, working toward a common growth target.
• Build the Salesforce presence in the local market.
• May take on additional responsibilities depending on resource constraints.

Required profile

• University graduate calibre.
• At least 6 years of successful, referenceable sales experience, preferably in software sales.
• Proven track record in business development, territory planning, pipeline generation and closing significant cloud software opportunities.
• Experience managing large, virtual teams is an advantage.
• Fluent Arabic and knowledge of the Saudi market are a competitive advantage; experience as an AI thought leader is also advantageous.
