VP of Commercial

About the role

The Senior Business Director leads Quant's sales division in Riyadh, driving growth and expanding market presence so that Quant can act as a trusted data and AI partner across key industries. The role calls for strong leadership, business acumen and a deep understanding of the Saudi market and enterprise clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a sales strategy aligned with Quant's vision, set targets, KPIs and growth plans, and share market insights with management
• Build relationships with clients, including enterprises, expand into new markets, create sales kits and proposals, and negotiate complex, high-value contracts
• Recruit, mentor and lead a sales team, monitor performance, and build a financial model for sales capacity planning, productivity and compensation
• Stay informed on industry trends and competitors, engage technology partners, and give product and marketing teams feedback from clients
• Use CRM systems to track the pipeline, prepare sales forecasts and performance reports, and make sales processes scalable and efficient
• Maintain strong client relationships, act as a trusted advisor, and identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field (required); MBA preferred
• 8-10 years of sales experience, preferably in IT, Data Science or AI
• Proven sales leadership and revenue-growth track record
• Proficiency in English and Arabic (written and spoken)

Required skills

• Expertise in enterprise sales, software solutions and subscription models
• Advanced proficiency in CRM tools such as Zoho and HubSpot, and sales analytics
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills
