Commercial Head – Subcontracts and Maintenance Contracts

About the role

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) is looking for a Commercial Head in Rabigh. The role manages all activities related to obtaining contracts to execute maintenance activities in the Maintenance Department, from developing scopes of work and defining prospective bidders to awarding and authorizing contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop scopes of work for maintenance activities carried out by contractors during normal refinery operation
• Develop evaluation criteria and preliminary cost estimates for contracts
• Coordinate preparation of Instructions to Bidders, kick-off meetings with contractors and evaluation of economic offers after technical offers are assessed by the contract responsible
• Ensure HSSEQ policies and programs are applied in each contract under his responsibility
• Ensure QA/QC requirements and KPIs are included in all maintenance contractors

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering
• At least 12 years of contracting experience
• Fluent writing and reading English
• Strong understanding of bidding processes, contract administration, cost control and budgeting
• Good technical understanding of maintenance execution management and people management
• Well organized, proactive, excellent communication skills, proven leadership in large organizations, strategic thinking and maturity under pressure
