Commercial Operations Specialist (CSM) – KSA

About the role

Veolia Water Technologies, Saudi Arabia, is looking for a Commercial Operations Specialist (Customer Success Manager) based in Riyadh. The role covers contract management, deal structuring, pricing and renewals for water treatment solutions, working closely with product applications, sourcing, supply chain, finance, treasury, legal and insurance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of contracts, including risk management, specification compliance, transactional pricing, customer negotiations, communications and issue resolution.
• Lead the transactional deal process, structure sound deals and interface with product applications, sourcing, supply chain, finance, treasury, legal and insurance.
• Lead deal reviews so technical risks, mitigations and business risk acceptances are reflected in scope, cost and proposal wording.
• Ensure accurate costing for complex and large deals, especially Key Accounts and those outside commercial tools (SFDC, iDeal).
• Manage price agreement renewals through the Price Agreement Tool, adhering to DoA, guidelines, profitability and account expiration.
• Train sales teams on pricing methodologies, renewal processes and the use of the Salesforce (SFDC) CRM, and support the Sales Team in finalizing and maintaining Distributor Agreements.
• Maintain the Pricing and Win/Loss database across applications to support future bids.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, engineering or risk management.
• Experience in the water industry and/or the speciality chemicals segment.
• Ability to travel regionally less than 15% of the time.

Required skills

• Understanding of water and process chemical solutions, pricing structures and ITO processes.
• Experience reviewing terms and conditions and negotiating agreements.
• Use of tools such as SFDC, SAP, Tableau and price quote tools.
