About the role

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse cost reports using advanced accounting software to provide insights into cost behaviour and profitability.
• Monitor production and operational costs, identify variances and recommend corrective actions to improve margins.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop budgets and forecasts, using statistical analysis and historical data.
• Conduct regular audits of financial records and cost‑accounting practices to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Implement cost‑control measures and efficiency initiatives, analysing processes to drive savings.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports, highlighting cost trends and their impact on business performance.
• Train and mentor junior accounting staff on cost‑accounting principles and practices.
