Executive Event Sales Specialist

About the role

The Executive Event Sales Specialist supports W Hotels in Riyadh by driving revenue through guest interactions, up‑selling, and management of Marriott Rewards. The role blends front‑line guest service with sales techniques to enhance loyalty and promote the brand.

Key responsibilities

• Answer guest calls, requests and resolve issues by coordinating with sales, accounting and data administration.
• Apply sales techniques and up‑selling strategies to maximise revenue while preserving guest loyalty.
• Process Marriott Rewards redemptions, reservations, changes and cancellations received via phone, fax or mail.
• Enter and maintain Marriott Rewards data in the appropriate software.
• Perform general office duties for the Sales & Marketing team, including filing, typing, emailing and faxing.
• Assist management in training and motivating staff, acting as a role model.
• Uphold company policies, professional appearance and confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Welcome guests, anticipate service needs and provide genuine appreciation.
• Support team collaboration, monitor performance standards and perform light physical tasks (lifting ≤10 lb).

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of relevant sales or guest‑service experience.
• Strong communication skills and professional telephone etiquette.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Marriott Rewards system.
