Faculty Member in Community Nursing

About the role

Batterjee Medical College is looking for a motivated Faculty Member in Community Nursing to join its Nursing Program. The role combines academic teaching with clinical supervision, focusing on community health and public health nursing. You will help prepare students to deliver patient‑centered care in diverse community settings.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, tutorials, labs and clinical training in community nursing.
• Supervise students during community and public health clinical rotations.
• Facilitate case‑based learning, health‑promotion activities and community assessment projects.
• Teach evidence‑based nursing practices related to community and public health care.
• Utilize LMS (Blackboard) and digital teaching tools for course delivery.
• Prepare and grade assessments, assignments and clinical evaluations.
• Maintain accurate academic and clinical records.
• Provide academic advising, mentorship and feedback to students.
• Participate in research, conferences and curriculum development.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and quality‑assurance processes.

Required profile

• Master's or PhD in Nursing with a focus on Community or Public Health Nursing.
• Valid professional nursing license/registration.
• Clinical experience in community or public health nursing.
• Teaching experience in nursing education is preferred.
• Familiarity with simulation‑based teaching and educational technologies.
