General Manager – Marketing Agency

About the role

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead a dynamic marketing agency in Riyadh. The role combines strategic vision with hands‑on operational oversight to drive growth, profitability, and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the agency’s long‑term strategic plan and business objectives.
• Assume full P&L responsibility, managing budgeting, forecasting and resource allocation.
• Lead, mentor and inspire a multidisciplinary team to foster a high‑performance culture.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations, ensuring seamless project delivery and optimal resource utilisation.
• Drive business development by identifying new market opportunities and leading high‑level client pitches.
• Serve as senior point of contact for major clients, ensuring exceptional service and lasting partnerships.
• Analyse market trends and competitor activity to maintain a competitive edge.
• Establish and monitor KPIs across departments to promote continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience (General Manager, Managing Director, Head of Operations) within a marketing, creative or advertising agency.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field; MBA highly advantageous.
• Demonstrated success in driving business growth, acquiring new clients and managing a profitable P&L.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strategic thinking and problem‑solving skills with deep industry knowledge.
• Excellent financial literacy and commercial acumen.
• Experience in the Saudi Arabian or GCC market is desirable.
