Head of Business Development

About the role

The Head of Business Development will lead EnglishPath.org’s expansion in Riyadh, focusing on B2B and B2G sales. The role is centred on acquiring corporate clients, securing government contracts through tender processes, and promoting a range of English language courses for adults, young learners and pathway programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, target and acquire corporate and government clients to meet sales targets for the Riyadh market.
• Prepare and manage tender applications, negotiate contracts and ensure successful delivery of government projects.
• Build and maintain relationships with decision‑makers in corporations, ministries, universities and schools.
• Collaborate with local agents and the Global Sales Team to maximise sales opportunities.
• Maintain a robust pipeline, follow up leads and convert prospects into signed contracts.
• Conduct market research, monitor industry trends and provide regular sales and budget reports to senior management.
• Support the Centre Manager with operational tasks such as welcoming visitors and other reasonable duties.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of commercial experience in the education sector in Saudi Arabia.
• Proven track record in B2B and B2G sales, tender applications and contract negotiations.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
