Head of Commercial

About the role

The Head of Commercial will lead and govern the commercial function for Abdul Latif Jameel Enterprises, driving sustainable revenue, asset monetisation and market performance across a diverse real‑estate portfolio. The role is responsible for shaping sales and leasing strategies, optimising pricing, and strengthening relationships with customers and investors while aligning commercial execution with overall business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the commercial strategy and annual revenue plan across residential, commercial, retail, hospitality and land assets.
• Lead end‑to‑end sales and leasing activities, from lead generation and qualification through proposal, negotiation, contracting and closing.
• Conduct market and competitor analysis, pricing reviews and demand assessments to inform product positioning and leasing structures.
• Build and maintain relationships with key customers, investors, tenants, brokers and commercial partners, ensuring high service standards and issue resolution.
• Lead, coach and develop the commercial team, establishing KPIs, dashboards and governance controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Real Estate or a related discipline (Master’s degree advantageous).
• Senior leadership experience in real‑estate commercial management, sales, leasing or business development within complex property portfolios.
• Proven track record in revenue strategy, pricing, market analysis, major deal negotiation and commercial governance.
• Experience across residential, commercial, retail, hospitality, mixed‑use or land assets is preferred.
