Head of Development & Feasibility

About the role

The Head of Development & Feasibility will lead the creation and assessment of new retail‑focused projects for Arabian Centres. Reporting to senior leadership, you will shape the annual business plan, drive feasibility studies and ensure robust financial models support strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing the annual Development & Delivery business plan, KPIs, budget, policies and procedures.
• Identify project opportunities through personal and professional networks.
• Lead IMDOP stages 1‑4 and allocate Development Managers to projects.
• Oversee high‑level and detailed feasibility studies and financial models for all opportunities.
• Provide modeling guidance to L4 staff and supervise their training.
• Coordinate input from Marketing, Operations, Leasing and Finance into feasibility updates.
• Present attractive project and investment opportunities to the CEO, Development Committee and Executive Committee.
• Maintain regular updates of feasibility studies and communicate revised projections.
• Develop pre‑concepts, development briefs and Asset Business Plans for greenfield projects.
• Allocate feasibility resources to Project Managers as needed.
• Drive the creation of modeling tools, templates and functionalities in partnership with Development & Delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, engineering, economics or management; MBA preferred.
• 12+ years of development and feasibility experience in a leading property developer or asset manager, with a focus on retail.
• Deep knowledge of the KSA or GCC real‑estate market; retail leasing or mall management experience is a plus.

Required skills

• Financial modeling and scenario analysis.
• Advanced Excel or equivalent financial analysis tools.
• Real‑estate feasibility study methodology.
• Understanding of design and architecture concepts as they relate to development.
