About the role
Pladis, a global biscuits and confectionery business, is looking for an Import Export Manager for its KSA sales operation in Jeddah. The role covers end-to-end order fulfillment, import and export coordination, cross-functional supply chain coordination, performance reporting, insurance and compliance, and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities
- Support end-to-end order fulfillment from order entry to delivery, monitoring KPIs such as On-Time Delivery (OTD/OTIF), order cycle time, backorders and delay root cause analysis
- Coordinate with the Sales team on order processing, delivery dates and customer communication, and align order priorities with inventory and shipment schedules
- Manage day-to-day import and export activities, including finished goods, project cargo (machinery) and spare parts, and liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, suppliers and customers
- Track shipments, resolve delays, damages and documentation issues, and prepare export operational reports on orders, shipments and delivery status
- Act as a coordination point between Sales, Supply Planning, Warehouse, Logistics and Finance, and identify supply chain bottlenecks
- Manage marine and land insurance, including policy administration, renewals, claims and payments, and ensure compliance with trade regulations
- Support process improvement, SOP updates, system accuracy and data quality, and act as backup to the line manager
Required profile
- 7-10 years in Supply Chain / Logistics / Sales Operations
- FMCG experience strongly preferred
- Hands-on import and export experience in Saudi Arabia, including customs, re-export and port operations
- Strong order management background and experience coordinating with freight forwarders, customs brokers and distributors
Required skills
- Advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, reporting)
- Shipment tracking tools and logistics dashboards
- Strong ownership, communication, problem-solving and stakeholder management under pressure
