Kitchen Commis 3 – Luxury Hotel

About the role

The Jumeirah Jabal Omar Hotel in Mecca is seeking a Commis 3 to join its kitchen team. This position supports the preparation of a diverse culinary offering that includes Mediterranean, Persian, Middle Eastern and Southeast Asian dishes. The role is based onsite in a fast‑paced, high‑standard luxury hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, measure, mix and prepare meal ingredients, sauces and seasonings.
• Wash, peel and chop vegetables, fruits and meats as required.
• Apply proficient knowledge of cutting, seasoning and marinating different meats.
• Prepare salads, sauces and dishes with precise presentation according to established recipes and plating guides.
• Ensure proper stock of food items in refrigerators and freezers.
• Document inventory of kitchen supplies and alert supervisors to low‑stock situations.
