Learning and Development Lead

About the role

The Learning and Development Lead will design, implement and continuously improve the organisation's learning strategy, ensuring it aligns with business objectives. This role drives capability building, enhances employee performance and cultivates a culture of continuous learning through structured programmes and modern learning solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the annual L&D strategy in line with organisational goals and workforce planning.
• Conduct training needs analysis across departments to identify skill gaps and development priorities.
• Design, deliver and evaluate training programmes, including leadership, technical and soft‑skill development.
• Manage end‑to‑end learning programmes, coordinating vendors, delivery and post‑training evaluation.
• Lead onboarding and induction programmes to ensure smooth employee integration.
• Establish competency frameworks and career development pathways.
• Support performance management by linking development plans to performance outcomes.
• Introduce and manage digital learning platforms such as LMS, e‑learning and micro‑learning tools.
• Measure training effectiveness using KPIs like ROI, engagement and performance improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development or a related field.
• 8–10 years of experience in HR, specifically Learning & Development, Talent Development or Organizational Development.
• Proven experience designing and delivering training programmes and leadership initiatives.
• Prior experience in a lead or senior specialist role, preferably in large or complex organisations.
• Master’s degree or certifications such as CIPD, SHRM or ATD is a plus.

Required skills

• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital learning tools.
